Phase One Report Launch

The Future of Chiropractic Strategic Visioning and Planning project has reached a critical milestone, with the release of the Phase One report. This report documents the work and outcomes of this phase, and celebrates the collective development of Shared Vision, Mission, Core Values and high-level Strategic Priorities.

The industry outreach, and industry participation has been an outstanding feature of this phase of work. Close to 4,000 people have participated in surveys, discussion boards, focus groups, think-tank session and workshops. This participation has been widespread geographically, across industry experience, and covered different types of practices and schools of thought.

What is intriguing about in this Chiropractic industry visioning project, is the high level of alignment around key issues. There was very strong support for a raft of key elements of the vision, mission, values and strategic priorities. One outstanding feature was the strong appetite for bold change that was documented in the final vision survey. This reflects an underlying sentiment throughout the engagement work, that people feel the ‘time is right’ for the industry to move forward in a coordinated manner and position the profession as a key part of the overall health care solution and industry. This phase has allowed the Future of Chiropractic Strategic Plan Project to achieve very clear direction and a mandate to now move on and develop a bold plan.

The results of Phase 1 have been compiled into a summary report which has been published. This report, together with the underlying data has been posted to the project portal and Future of Chiropractic Strategic Plan Timeline and Progress page.
