Molalla, OR – May 14, 2021 – Having been involved in phase I and II of the Future of Chiropractic Strategic Plan and recently hearing the update at the ChiroCongress Mid-Year meeting in Tampa, the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners Board of Directors has agreed by vote to contribute $125,000 to the continuing development of a national strategic plan fund. NBCE Chief Executive Officer Dr. Norman Ouzts stated that the board of directors is pleased with the work that has been accomplished so far and what the project could mean for the chiropractic profession.
The NBCE board of directors has also pledged an additional $125,000 in matching funds in the hopes that other organizations will support this much needed national strategic plan.
ChiroCongress President, Dr. Brenda Holland (WI), states that “Representatives from state association leadership, colleges, national organizations, corporate partners, individual practitioners, and more have joined together to gather significant and relevant data, leading to the discovery and confirmation of commonly shared priorities for the future state of the profession. We are so thankful to NBCE and all of our other contributors thus far. To see the profession come together to take control of our future has been nothing short of inspiring!”.
